Morgan Freeman’s private jet forced to make an emergency landing

Morgan Freeman was on his way to do some filming for a television show about religion when his private jet was forced to make an emergency landing.

Freeman was the only passenger on board as the pilot radioed in a mayday, saying the jet had “significant hydraulic problems.”

“Sometimes things don’t go as planned and a tire blew on take-off which caused other problems. But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobson we landed safely without a scratch,” Freeman recalled of the incident afterward.

“I cannot say the same about my plane. I appreciate the concern and prayers for our safety,” he added.

No one was hurt, according to reports, and the plane was cleared for an emergency landing in Tunica, Mississippi.
