Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas started making waves Tuesday night after posting a video of women playing basketball in thongs.
It wasn’t simply the video that sparked controversy but the caption accompanying it as well. Arenas voiced his opinions on the WNBA and commented on players’ appearances, saying they look like “cast members from Orange Is The New Black.” He added that there should be more “cutie pies” and suggested Tulsa Shock guard Skylar Diggins should dress like the women in his video — then he would attend more games.
The full caption reads:

He still adds at the end that if you disagree with him or find his blatantly sexist post, well, sexist, you must be an ugly female basketball player.
