The day after Beyonce dropped “Formation,” Red sales skyrocketed up 33%.
The restaurant chain, of course, gave Queen Bey the credit she deserved. After all, it was her shout-out to them that had Twitter users claiming they were all headed to Red Lobster, with the song lyric, “When he f**k me good, I take his a** to Red Lobster.”
To show their thanks, Red Lobster redubbed one of their dishes “Cheddar Bey Biscuits.”
When some haters on Twitter weren’t impressed by the new dish name, Red Lobster took it all in stride, tweeting, “You try to bake Cheddar Bay Biscuits and tweet at the same time! #harderthanitlooks #Formation.”
"Cheddar Bey Biscuits" has a nice ring to it, don't you think? #Formation @Beyonce pic.twitter.com/QzgVtYAKNo
