A young girl’s reaction to President Barack Obama leaving office next year has been viewed nearly 3 million times on Facebook. “I’m not ready. I’m not ready for a new [president]!” the girl sobs.
Fortunately, the president heard the little girl’s cries:
Caprina, tell her to dry her tears, because I’m not going anywhere. Once I leave the White House, I’ll still be a citizen just like her. And when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me. In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye out for her letter, and we’ll always get to celebrate our birthdays together!
The video was recorded by the girl’s grandmother, Caprina Harris. Harris can be heard on the video explaining how Obama can only serve two terms and his “time is up.”
