Governor declares ‘Beyoncé Day’ in Minnesota

He decided to put a day on it instead of a ring.

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton declared Monday, May 23, “Beyoncé Day” because…she’s Beyoncé.

Dayton cited the influence the singer has had on “many young girls and women with powerful, positive messages in her songs,” as he made the announcement before her show at the TCF Bank Stadium.
