Federal prosecutors announced Friday that 44-year-old Vinnie Taylor of Wilmington, North Carolina, admitted that he gave women injections to enhance their buttocks. Taylor, who isn’t a medical practitioner, told clients that he used medical-grade silicone and the procedure performed in hotel rooms in several states was safe. The plea estimates Taylor made nearly $1.6 million.

Prosecutors say Taylor’s client died in March 2014, days after he administered an injection at a Maryland hotel. Taylor is expected to plead guilty to a “criminal information,” admitting that his actions resulted in the woman’s death. In exchange, Prince George’s County prosecutors dismissed first-degree murder charges.
