Orange is the New Black star Danielle Brooks is done with ticketing agents thinking she doesn’t fly first class all the time.

Danielle Brooks plays the role as Taystee on Netflix show “Orange is the New Black” and was nominated for a Tony for her performance in “The Color Purple”.

But even with all of her recent success, she is fed up with the disrespect from one flight agent.

Brooks took to Twitter to call out the airport personnel who made a passing comment about how lucky she was to be flying first class: “I hate when gate agents look at me like I’ve never flown first class and say “You’re in first class, lucky you!”???? really tho.”

While Brooks didn’t specifically call the incident one of “flying while black,” it’s pretty easy to read between the lines here.

Her tweet, sparked a lot of different comments from her fans, Ebony Magazine tweeted “Who do we need to fight @thedanieb?!”.

Another user tweeted  “@thedanieb The expectation that black women are broke is pervasive. I have perfected the dead eyed ‘You’re not worth my time’ face.”

Brooks, responded to the fans “@EBONYMag @GetJETmag lol this thing blew wayyy out of proportion! Lol.”

–Brooks certainly has not let this situation ruin or her positive attitude. She is back on set filming for the new season of OITNB and you can catch her playing Sophie in “The Color Purple” on Broadway!

Keep up the great work Danielle!
