Pair charged with prostitution forced teen to have sex with 288 people

A Montgomery County investigation is underway into a possible prostitution ring after a teenage girl told authorities that she had been forced to have sex with  288 people at a Silver Spring hotel.

Atuan Saran Rogers, 34, and Dierra Victoria Lee Thomas, 19, have been charged with prostitution charges. Investigators said that the teenager was forced to work for the two of them for over two months, and they are concerned that others might have been forced into the prostitution ring.

The teen told police that she was approached by the pair at a hotel while she was with friends, and she contacted them again via phone and Instagram, and they encouraged her to leave home on Oct. 25, 2015.

During the time that the teen worked for the pair, she said that Rogers worked as a pimp and that she was forced to have sex with between eight and ten people a day. She worked three days a week and was hit in the face when she said that she did not “want to have sex anymore.”

Thomas was arrested on July 11 and Rogers was arrested July 29, and they are both facing prostitution charges.
