Pastor and gospel singer Donnie McClurkin is in a relationship and he’s not ashamed to share it.
On Thursday night, McClurkin appeared on the TBN show with hosts Matt Crouch and his wife, Laurie, when Crouch announced that McClurkin was engaged to Nicole C. Mullen.
“OK, are you ready for something? You want me to just drop something on ya?” Crouch asked the audience during the episode, before he shouted out the news: “Donnie McClurkin’s getting married! Come on!”

McClurkin playfully chastised the host at first saying, “What are you trying to do here?” then finally gave a shout-out to his girlfriend.
“I’m not ashamed at all,” says McClurkin. “I’ve fallen in love with a wonderful young woman by the name of Nicole C. Mullen.”
McClurkin is the father of a teenaged son and previously sparked controversy after saying that God had delivered him from “the curse” of homosexuality.
Honestly, the only thing in my life that is missing is marriage. The only thing that is missing in my life that can cause real family, is marriage. Financially, I’m there. Spiritually, I’m almost there. Emotionally, I’m getting it together. But the only thing that’s missing out of everything that I’m doing locally, cross country and globally is that aspect that makes family, family — is that wife that would make man whole, that element that brings favor to man.
Despite the engagement announcement by Matt Crouch, gospel singer Erica Campbell took to Instagram to denounce claims that McClurkin was engaged, writing:
“I hate misleading bloggers who take pieces of truth and twist it so they can get more views on their site…Yes Pastor Donnie is in a relationship but he hasn’t made any announcement. No one should steal the joy of making a wonderful announcement like this.”
