Actor Thomas Mikal Ford, best known for his role as “Tommy” in the hit 90s sitcom Martin has died. He was 52.
TMZ first reported Ford’s passing Wednesday afternoon. A public relations firm purportedly representing Ford confirmed the news on Twitter:

According to TMZ, Ford had been hospitalized in Atlanta since Sunday after an “aneurysm rupture in his abdomen.”
Ford has had notable roles on shows such as New York Undercover and The Parkers. According to his official website, he was in the process of filming a documentary.
Ford had knee replacement surgery at the end of September and had been updating his followers on social media of his progress.
