A new PSA about police brutality, Against the Wall, has just been released.
The four-minute PSA is rendered in black and white and features Michael B. Jordan, Danny Glover, Sophia Dawson, Van Jones, Michael K. Williams and Mark Lamont Hill. The celebrities stand against the wall in a position often requested by police officers as they highlight police brutality.
Directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz, with assistance from Harry Belafonte’s nonprofit organization, Sanofa, the PSA uses actual police recordings as well as news briefings as 911 calls to illustrate the continuing problem of police brutality.
