Trump thought Bill Cosby was ‘guilty as hell’ in 2015 interview

Last year, Donald Trump had harsh words for Bill Cosby when the comedian was in the midst of the media frenzy over sexual assault allegations made against him.

In July of 2015, Trump gave a radio interview to Rita Cosby of 77 WABC in New York. The Republican presidential nominee said he had “never been a fan” of the comedian and “never liked him.”

Trump also said he thought Cosby was “guilty as hell,” according to The Hill.

Trump even went so far as to suggest that Cosby should be stripped of his Presidential Medal of Freedom.

“I don’t know if you can take away a medal or not,” he said. “It’s not the most important thing. But I would say, if you can, take it away.”

Trump campaign manager Stephen Bannon said his candidate’s strategy in the final weeks leading up to the election was to turn “Bill Clinton into Bill Cosby.”

Several women have come forward to allege Trump acted inappropriately towards them over the years. The actions range from unwanted kissing to groping to just overall creepy and predatory behavior.
