In a video posted to YouTube on Sunday, Bishop Eddie Long told his congregation at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church that he had been healed by God.
In a video posted to YouTube on Sunday, Bishop Eddie Long told his congregation at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church that he had been healed by God.
“I’ve been on a journey and just recalibrating myself,” Long can be heard declaring in the video. “And like I said, I had some health issues and God has healed me. The manifestation is coming through and we stand in that.”
Miz Justice, who posted the video to YouTube, said that the video took place on Oct. 9, during Long’s anniversary service.
Recently, Long announced that he was suffering from a health condition but did not disclose specifics. The announcement came after rumors swirled around the bishop, who looked frail in recent videos.
It was not immediately clear in the video whether or not Long was saying that he had been physically healed or if he was referring to a spiritual healing or rebirth.
This month, Long not only celebrated his pastoral anniversary but also held a three-day summit with speakers from around the world, from New Zealand to the Bahamas.
