Dave Chappelle‘s a new deal with streaming giant Netflix to stream three of his comedy specials is reportedly worth $60 million.
The three specials include two from his personal archives, while the third will include material from his most recent tour. The deal marks his first comedy specials in 12 years.
“Dave was offered $20 million a special. Netflix basically has a war chest for this kind of content. Whether it’s a loss or not, Dave Chappelle’s specials will get a lot of press and bring in new subscribers,” one insider said, according to PageSix.
The news of the lucrative deal comes shortly after Netflix made a $40 million deal with Chris Rock.
