At least four people have been shot during Black Friday sales across the nation, with two people injured and two more dead.
The incidents took place at a New Jersey Macy’s, a Tennessee mall and a Nevada Walmart.
A 20-year-old man was shot and killed in the parking lots outside a Macy’s at around 1 a.m., while he 26-year-old brother was shot in the leg. Police have not released any information on the suspects, and it is not clear what led to the shooting.
In Reno, Nevada, a man was killed on Thursday night just minutes after the doors opened. According to police, the man was killed after getting into another argument with a Walmart shopper over a shopping spot, and the suspect fled the scene. Police characterized it as a road rage incident rather than one connected to Black Friday shoppers.
Another man was wounded in a Memphis’s Wolfchase Galleria Mall parking lot on Thursday when a suspect opening fire into the parking lot before driving away.
