President-elect Donald Trump wants you to know that he’s unbothered by the lack of celebrities confirmed for his inauguration, proclaiming that he only wants “the people” in attendance.
“The so-called ‘A’ list celebrities are all wanting tixs (sic) to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!” Trump tweeted late Thursday night.

The “Celebrity Apprentice” executive producer’s commentary comes after reports of multiple “A-list” celebrities refusing to perform and/or attend his inauguration over his controversial campaign, which included lewd and racist comments about women, Muslims, Mexicans and the like.
More recently, Celine Dion allegedly declined to perform despite intense lobbying from Las Vegas casino honcho Steve Wynn. Others who reportedly left Trump hanging are Elton John, David Foster and opera singer Andrea Bocelli.
