The charges against Teairra Mari related to an Uber ride in which she allegedly beat up her driver and stole his charger have been dropped.
Apparently, the driver did not want to take the stand against the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star. Mari’s attorney, Lonnie Brandon, said that he refused because he knew that his story was phony.
Mari spent the summer in trouble for the incident as she was a no-show in court, but now, after surrendering to authorities, the charges are gone, and her $26,000 bail money has been returned to her.
Prosecutors moved to dismiss three charges in this case, and the judge agreed to toss out the case.
