Tomi Lahren’s show suspended after she admits she’s pro-choice

On Friday, conservative darling Tomi Lahren admitted to The View that she was pro-choice, which has prompted some serious backlash from conservatives.

“I’m pro-choice and here’s why,” Lahren said during the show’s “Political View” segment, “I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think that the government should decide what women should do with their bodies. I can say, you know what, I am for limited government so stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well.”

This came as a surprise to many, conservative and liberal alike, since Lahren had been outspoken against the pro-choice movement, calling them “straight up baby killers.”

Many criticized her for appearing to flip-flop on her views, while others said that she had lost all credibility. After the segment, Lahren took to Twitter to defend herself.

“I speak my truth. If you don’t like it, tough,” she tweeted on Saturday afternoon. “I will always be honest and stand in my truth.”

She also added that she has “conservative, moderate, and libertarian views” and explained, “Listen, I am not glorifying abortion. I don’t personally advocate for it. I just don’t think it’s the government’s place to dictate.”

On Monday, TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck questioned Lahren’s intellectual honesty.

Sources now claim that as a result of these comments, Leon Wolf, TheBlaze’s managing editor, sent messages to Blaze staff informing them that Lahren’s show would “not be in production this week.
