Katherine Jackson recently flew from London back to the United States so that she could make a court appearance on Wednesday against her nephew, Trent Jackson, in her elder abuse case against him.

According to TMZ, Katherine made the trip because she was told that her suit would be thrown out if she did not make an appearance.

However, Trent claims that the real reason for the trip is that Jermaine Jackson and other family members are trying to get control of Katherine’s estate. He has claimed that he has done nothing but take care of his aunt and that he will walk away from her if that is what she wants.

The hearing was scheduled for Wednesday.
