Remy Ma brought every major female rapper on stage, slams Nicki Minaj
On Sunday during her performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Remy brought out her squad: Queen Latifah, Lil’ Kim, the Lady of Rage, Monie Love, MC Lyte, Young M.A, and Cardi B.
It was a huge spectacle as they went down every person twice in a display of unity that was topped off by Latifah and Remy performing Latifah’s 1993 hit “U.N.I.T.Y.”
But then, before any of the ladies could leave the stage, “SHEther” started to play, and right then and there, Remy Ma went in on her diss track against Minaj, all while the screen behind her showed memes mocking Minaj.
The beef between the two rappers has been going on for months now, but this time, it seems Remy took things up a notch by showing off that her squad is bigger and cooler before tearing her rival apart. Or maybe she just knew that having that many big names all at once was going to get the cameras’ attention and took the opportunity to diss Minaj on a bigger stage.
Either way, it looks like this rivalry isn’t going away any time soon.
