Recent high school grad shot in the head in road rage incident

Pennsylvania police are still searching for the man who shot 18-year-old Bianca Nikol Roberson in a road rage incident.

Police told NBC 10 that Roberson was driving her green Chevrolet Malibu on Route 100 when she tried to merge into a lane that a red pickup was also trying to merge into. Both cars had reached part of the highway where two lanes merged into one and were trying to merge when the driver of the pickup took out a gun and shot Roberson in the head.

Roberson was killed instantly. Her car went off the road and crashed in the woods, while the driver of the pickup kept driving and fled the scene.

Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said that the incident is being investigated as a murder case and asked for anyone with information to come forward to the West Goshen Police Department Traffic Safety Division. Hogan also called for the driver of the pickup truck, described as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40 with blonde or light brown hair, to turn himself in.

“Turn yourself in now,” Hogan said. “Every second you are out there, you are only making this worse for yourself and worse for this young lady’s family.”

Roberson had only just graduated high school this year and was looking forward to going to Jacksonville University in the fall.
