Tracee Ellis Ross is up for playing Ms. Frizzle in live-action ‘Magic School Bus’
People on Black Twitter have been campaigning hard for Tracee Ellis Ross to play Ms. Frizzle in a new live-action version of The Magic School Bus.
Then, to everyone’s excitement, Ross tweeted about the situation, asking people to tell her more about their ideas for her.
Trouble is, there is a new Magic School Bus coming to Netflix and the role of Ms. Frizzle has already been cast. Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon is set to play her, though it should be noted this is for an animated show, not a live action one, so there is still hope for Ross.
