Chelsea Handler and Tomi Lahren had their much anticipated debate at Politicon on Saturday night. The two women did find some common ground here and there but mostly Tomi was true to her nature.
She spoke of how she agreed with Trump trying to ban transgender individuals from the military stating that the military is “not the place for a social experiment.”
When Handler disagreed with Lahren she brought up Trump’s cost reasoning behind the whole ban.
“They are not scheduling it around the time they are deployed. No one is saying, ‘I want time off in the middle of a war because I want my penis.’ No one is doing that. That is unreasonable…” She said.
Handler also mentioned the fact that the $2.4 million spent on hormones doesn’t quite compare to the $45 million spent on Viagra and Cialis for the military.

“Shouldn’t you be focusing on that?” Handler asked. “These people are volunteering to serve our country and it’s not easy for them to even walk out to door,”
Lahren also railed against Obamacare. Before admitting that she’s currently benefiting from it by staying on her parent’s insurance since she’s only 24.
She sounded a lot like Trump talking about the death spiral Obamacare is in, which prompted Handler to fire back that Trump and others are “sabotaging” it and instead should be doing “whatever we can to make the system that’s in place thrive.”
Most expected this to be a heated conversation and it was, just not to the extent that many assumed it would be.
