Floyd Mayweather suggests he’ll make $300M in upcoming fight

Floyd Mayweather is gearing up for his fight with Conor McGregor, and he seems to believe it will net him hundred of millions of dollars.

During Showtime’s All Access: Mayweather vs. McGregor, he even suggested that he might make more than he did in 2015 when he fought Manny Pacquiao, which reportedly netted him between $220 million and $230 million, according to ESPN.com’s Darren Rovell and Dan Rafael.

“I mean, am I the highest-paid athlete out there? And just coming back? We not talking about no contract,” Mayweather said, according to TMZ Sports. “We not talking about no contract for no four years, or no contract for no five years. I can do it in 36 minutes. $300 (million) or better. In 36 minutes.”

The predetermined split of the money between Mayweather and McGregor has not been published because of a confidentiality agreement signed between the two parties, but if the fight sells well, it’s possible Mayweather could bring in that much, depending on sales numbers and how the split will go down.
