Lions season ticket holder Stacey Graham attended the home opener Sunday and did not stand for the national anthem...

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Stacey Graham is a Lions season ticket holder and went to one of their games this weekend, where she did not stand for the national anthem in protest.

Specifically, she told WXYZ that she sat out the anthem because she disagreed with the third verse of the song.

However, a man named David Doptis was also at the game and saw her protest. Doptis took a picture of it and posted the picture of Graham and a man seated during the anthem with the words “Ignorant N*****s” over the picture.

The image included the caption, “you wanna sit down for the national anthem? You don’t like out country the get the “F” outtt.”

Graham said that she was shocked by the post and by its language and is now speaking out against it.
