Milo Yiannopolous, a famous alt-right supporter, has just tied the knot with a black man.
Over the weekend, Yiannopolous made the announcement on Instagram, posting pictures of the wedding in Hawaii. Yiannopolous’ partner, identified only as “John,” is carefully obscured in the pictures to hide his identity, though the pictures showed them saying their vows under a tree and pouring champagne into a tower of glasses.
Although Yiannopolous, a former Breitbart editor, is openly gay, he had previously written an article for the media outlet called “Gay Rights Have Made Us Dumber,” in which he declared that gay people should “get back in the closet.”

He also claimed last year that he didn’t employ gay people because he “didn’t trust them” and also expressed support for Donald Trump’s ban on transgender individuals serving in the armed forces, claiming that transgender people are mentally ill.
However, in September, he told Australian network Sky News’s Bolt Report that while he believes churches should not be obligated to perform same-sex marriages, on the subject of civil marriages, “having recently fallen in love myself, I don’t think there is a strong enough case against gay marriage in a civil sense.”
Yiannopolous has not revealed the identity of the man who is now his husband, but he has previously claimed that the man is Muslim and that they have been together for 10 years.
