‘Being Mary Jane’ set to end in 2018 with 2-hour series finale movie on BET

BET’s “Being Mary Jane” is coming to a close, with a 2-hour movie for its series finale to air next year on the network.

Seeing as the series started out with a TV movie, this will be a fitting end for the show, capping the beginning and end with similar style.

The announcement of the movie as the finale comes after the fourth season’s finale aired on September 19, and the network decided not to pick it up for a fifth season.
