I regret voting for you: Wife of Raiders coach responds to Trump’s Marshawn Lynch tweet

At least one member of the Oakland Raiders organization isn’t pleased with President Donald Trump today.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Donald Trump is once again causing a stir on Twitter, this time in calling for Marshawn Lynch to be suspended because he stood for the Mexican national anthem.

Now, Linda Del Rio, the wife of head coach Jack Del Rio has fired back at Trump. Today she tweeted that she voted for Trump in the last election but she now regrets it. Her tweet came just hours after the president lashed out at Lynch for sitting for the US anthem but standing for the Mexican one.

Trump posted the following message on Twitter, “Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.”

This led to Del Rio posting, “President Trump I voted for you, which I now regret, football is a powerful platform – here’s the charitable work we did in Mexico City. #NFLProud.”

That wasn’t all she wrote, she also directly responded to Trump’s tweet about Lynch writing, “Take more time being president of the United States and less time trying to shame.”

Now we get to wait and see what the president will tweet in response.
