Meek Mill has plenty of supporters these days and he recently had a phone call with Colin Kaepernick.
During the conversation from behind bars, the Philly rapper asked the quarterback to send a message to these supporters.
“Spoke to Meek Mill & he wanted ppl to know regardless of his unjust situation, he’s in good spirits & humbled by the support the people have shown him,” Colin posted on Twitter.

Kaepernick has spoken out against the sentence that Meek was hit with, saying that two to four years in prison is far too extreme for a non-violent probation violation.
Meek Mill has been in prison since early this month for violating his probation on a 2008 conviction in a weapons and drug case.
