Angela Rye rips Trump: ‘We don’t say “thank you massa” over here’

Angela Rye has some harsh words for Donald Trump after his racist response to LaVar Ball’s CNN interview that was about his son’s shoplifting incident in China.

His son LiAngelo, along with two other UCLA basketball players, were caught shoplifting sunglasses while in the country for a game. Trump claimed to have gotten them released so that they could return home.

Ball refused to thank Trump, the president took to Twitter to slam him in a multitude of different ways.

Rye, like many other people, noticed Trump’s repeated inappropriate behavior when speaking of people of color.

“I do have to say, I think it’s interesting that regularly, the people who he picks on in this way are athletes of color,” she stated. “There’s regularly this issue like, ‘grovel,’ like ‘say thanks, Massah.’ It’s ridiculous.”

Trump again today lashed out at Ball saying he was a “poor man’s version of Don King” and an “ungrateful fool.” He also started tweeting about the NFL protests again.
