They say good things come in threes and we now have evidence of that being true. For the December December 2017/January 2018 issue of Vogue Paris, Rihanna graces different covers.
Each cover was shot by a different photographer: Jean-Paul Goude, Juergen Teller and photography pair Inez & Vinoodh.
Rihanna even guest-edited the issue which will be on the stands Dec. 1.
“She’s one of the most emblematic artists of the early 21st century. She’s moved more than 200 million records of her hybrid R&B, dance, rock and reggae-flavored music, provided sartorial surprises from glammed-up streetwear to reworked classics and is driven by an unparalleled desire to succeed,” Emmanuelle Alt, editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, stated.
“Stamped with her trademark bold body art, Rihanna cuts an unusual figure in the celebrity Hall of Fame,” Alt went on to say.
The Fenty designer is not new to Vogue, she has graced the cover of several of their publications throughout the world. The singer recently landed the cover of Vogue Arabia depicting Queen Nefertiti, which upset some people who felt it was cultural appropriation.
