Rihanna’s PUMA x Fenty line of fashion apparel is popular, so popular that her uncle decided he wanted to get in on the action. He was arrested in Barbados for selling knock-offs from the line.
Leroy Fitzgerald Brathwaite, 53, was in a Barbados court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. He was allegedly selling counterfeit versions of her PUMA slippers and shirts.
He was charged under the Consumer Protection Act and it has been reported that it was Rihanna that inadvertently got him busted when she spotted some of the fake fashion when visiting Barbados back in May.

After seeing the counterfeits, she got in touch with a PUMA representative who went to the island to look into the situation. That rep then filed a police report that ended up getting Brathwaite put behind bars.
The reason he has pleaded not guilty is that he says he was not given an official warning before his arrest. He is currently out on bail with his next court date set for November 28.
