‘Glee’ star Naya Rivera arrested on domestic battery against husband

Naya Rivera, one of the stars on the hit television show Glee, has been arrested for domestic battery.

Rivera, 30, reportedly attacked her husband as they took their son for a walk on Saturday in West Virginia.

She has been charged with hitting husband Ryan Dorsey, 34, in the head as they spent Thanksgiving in his hometown of Chesapeake.

Dorsey captured the incident on his cell phone and has handed that over to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.

Rivera was arraigned just after midnight and during the hearing, the judge mispronounced her name. She attempted to correct him softly but soon gave up.

She was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and released to her father-in-law on $1000 bond. She didn’t speak as she left the courthouse that was approximately 10 miles north of Chesapeake.

Sources say she has permission to leave the state.

Rivera had filed for divorce from Dorsey in 2016 but later decided to stay together, reportedly, for the sake of their child. They had gotten married after dating only three months. She had previously engaged to rapper Big Sean.

Sean had something to say about her arrest on Twitter, posting a video that said “I told you so,” multiple times.

He has claimed in the past that Rivera was very controlling and violent.
