Cardi B catches Grammy shade from critics who say she didn’t write ‘Bodak Yellow’

Cardi B‘s Grammy nominations are already hitting a sour note over accusations that she didn’t write her chart-topping single “Bodak Yellow.”

The Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit was nominated for both Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, but several people noticed that in the credits for Best Rap Song, which honors songwriters, Cardi B’s real name, Belcalis Almanzar, wasn’t listed.

The rumor mill quickly churned out a number of theories, from a ghostwriter being involved to Kodak Black being the songwriter, but Cardi B shot them all down with a post in which she circled her name in the credits for both nominations.

“So many people try to discredit me,” she said in her response.

She has since deleted the post.
