PBS has announced the air date for the documentary about famed playwright Lorraine Hansberry.

The trailer for Sighted Eyes/Feeling Heart dropped in September, and now, PBS has announced that the full documentary will air on Jan. 19, 2018 at 9:00 p.m.

The program will not only focus on A Raisin in the Sun but will also highlight Hansberry’s work as an activist for the feminist and civil rights movements.

The documentary will feature interviews with the likes of Ruby Dee, Harry Belafonte, Sidney Poitier and Louis Gossett Jr. and will be narrated by LaTanya Richardson-Jackson.

Actress Anika Noni Rose will give her voice to Hansberry in the documentary.
