On Wednesday, during a speech announcing that the United States would be recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, President Donald Trump appeared to slur his speech, resulting in several people raising questions about the state of his health.
The health concerns were so prevalent that the White House announced that Trump will be undergoing a physical exam at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C. at the beginning of the year.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the exam on Thursday while also deriding concerns about Trump’s well-being as “frankly, pretty ridiculous.”
“The President’s throat was dry, nothing more than that,” she told reporters.
The Internet was set abuzz by the slurred speech at the end of Trump’s speech on Wednesday, particularly the way he said “God bless the United States.” Speculation has ranged from a dental or denture emergency to more serious concerns like a stroke.
