Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

BeyoncĂ©‘s hair stylist, Neal Farinah, doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with Black women wearing weaves.

“Sometimes women make choices and Black women are not the only one who wear wigs and weaves and pieces. Remember that and underneath wigs and weave Black women have some of the most beautiful curly,” Farinah said in a video posted to social media.

He went on to say that there was “nothing wrong” with choosing to have extensions or wear a weave, noting that it was a “choice” for Black women and that they should be allowed to make their own beauty decisions.

Farinah was also sure to remind Black women that they have “beautiful texture” and that they should be proud of their beauty.
