It’s official: K. Michelle and Loni Love have ended their feud.
This week the singer and the reality star made an appearance on The Real to promote her new album The People I Used to Know. The visit was interesting considering earlier year K. Michelle blasted the talk show co-host online.
Both women, however, took to social media after the show to reveal they buried the hatchet.
“Delta Sigma Theta. Black Girl magic. We are better in unity than at odds. Beautiful spirit. Glad we got to really speak,” K. Michelle captioned with a photo of her and Loni throwing up their sorority hand sign.
Loni posted the same picture, writing, “Sisterhood is not always by blood but by experiences … Thxs @kmichellemusic for being so open and revealing on #thereals4 #deltasigmatheta”
The ‘Real’ backstory
Back in April, K. Michelle made waves when she got on social media to blast Loni Love and Angela Yee, who was guest co-hosting The Real at the time.
In a segment on the show, Yee was asked about an awkward interview she had with K. Michelle on her morning radio show, The Breakfast Club. Loni, at time, mistakenly called the singer Keyshia Cole.
K. Michelle quickly turned to Twitter to unleash on both women.
“U should shut you heavy neck a** up playing with me @loniloe UR NOT FUNNY.The only thing funny about you in your struggle A** ham hock,” she tweeted. “And Angela haven’t u had enough d***s in your mouth by now to shut up? I don’t play with media. Im not wrapped to tight. Stay from over here.”
But the singer didn’t stop there. She also implied that Loni was responsible for former co-host Tamar Braxton‘s firing.
“Im not a show called ‘The Real’ I am the real. Stop playing with me, like u played&got Tamar fired. These are NOT the type problems u want.”
Love replied back, “Come on #thereal and say it girl… now don’t you trot to @WendyWilliams first!!!”
“I’m not coming on no dry a** real to sit there a be fake with a bunch frauds,” K. Michelle responded. “How bout this. You keep my whole name out of your mouth. And stay over there on Sesame Street. Caus this ain’t what you want hamburger.”
It’s nice to see the two ladies handle things like the grown women they are.
