The response was short, sweet and straight to the point. We’re hoping whoever asked the Twitter user got the message loud and clear!

Yara stays winning
Fans can look forward to a lot more episodes of the black-ish spinoff series because Freeform just renewed it for a second season after only four weeks on the air. Pretty impressive.
ICYMI, a recent episode showed Yara’s character, Zoey, is grappling with the meaning of the the new age booty call: the “U up” text. The fabulous and fashionable frosh is agonizing over her crush, Aaron (Trevor Jackson) and his now routine “U up?” texts.
Even though she has been partaking in late-night hook ups prompted by those two little words, she’s now obsessing over what it all means. So she gathers a group of her girlfriends to dissect Aaron’s text and find out whether or not there’s potential for real meaningful romance.
As expected, her girls’ conflicting advice leaves her more confused than ever and ultimately, she leaves Aaron’s latest text unanswered. Zoey thinks that’s a wise decision until she spots him making out with another girl and goes into a text-induced tailspin. She finally decides to send him the same “U up?” text that night, and then pretends like it was meant for someone else.
The network has picked up 20 more episodes for the show’s second season, a marked increase from this season’s 13 episode order.

According to Deadline, the “Black-ish” spinoff has been a massive success thus far for Freeform. Its January 3 premiere was the highest-rated comedy debut for Freeform in six years, and it was the best series start for the network since Shadowhunters.
“Grown-ish” followed Yara Shahidi’s character from “Black-ish,” Zoey, as she goes to college and learns to navigate the world away from home at fictional Cal U. In real life the outspoke and socially conscious star was accepted into Harvard last year but has deferred her admission to launch the series.
Recently, Yara Shahidi appeared on The View, where she spoke about her new Black-ish spinoff show, Grown-ish, in which her character goes to college. This new series, like its predecessor, doesn’t shy away from heavier topics.
It’s brains and beauty for the win!
