LeBron James joined an elite club in the NBA, scoring a whopping 30,000 points in his career to date during Wednesday night’s game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.
In addition to being only the 7th basketball player to do so, at 33, he is also the youngest.
Naturally, James’ wife and children were proud of his athletic accomplishment, so much so that they appeared in a video compilation for Fox Sports.
“Congratulations dad on 30,000 points. I’m proud of you but you know I taught you well,” said the Cleveland Cavaliers star’s oldest son LeBron James Jr.
But it was LeBron’s adorable daughter who really stole the show. “Congratulations daddy, I love you,” she said before blowing her famous dad a kiss.

LeBron’s wife, Savannah, also congratulated her man on a job well done. “Congratulations, my love on being the youngest NBA player to score 30,000 points in your career. I am so proud of you. I know the work that you put in day in and day out to be able to work at this high level,” she said.
“I hope that you are proud of this moment. It’s a huge milestone, and I want you to celebrate yourself. We love you and keep doing what you do because you got it.”
Congratulate yourself
LeBron’s family weren’t the only ones congratulating him for his career milestone. On Instagram, just before his record-breaking game against the Spurs, the NBA superstar congratulated himself.
“Wanna be one of the first to Congratulate you on this accomplishment/achievement tonight that you’ll reach! Only a handful has reach/seen it too and while I know it’s never been a goal of yours from the beginning try(please try) to take a moment for yourself on how you’ve done it!” James captioned.
“There’s so many people to thank who has help this even become possible(so thank them all) and when u finally get your moment(alone) to yourself smile, look up to the higher skies and say THANK YOU! So with that said, Congrats again Young King.”
