“It’s an emotional time and I graciously ask for privacy for me, our children and the rest of our family.”

Tisha Campbell was recently seen with former co-star and TV husband Martin Lawrence along with Tichina Arnold outside a Burbank Morton’s Steakhouse where they were apparently catching up.

The trio chatted with TMZ as they left the restaurant and when asked about the show coming back, Martin said, “Never say never.”

He added, “we don’t know nothing right now, but never say never.”

As they were pressed more, Tichina said, “Well, within life, there’s always new beginnings, and there’s always change, and there’s always new plateaus where we have to reach, so we’ll see what’s happening.”

That’s when Tisha Campbell chimed in with, “We can’t tell y’all s***.”

Tichina, laughing said, “See, I was gonna put it a little more eloquently.”

Before the first series ended in 1997, Campbell left the show after suing Martin for sexual harassment and abuse. She later returned with a guarantee that the two would not have scenes together.

Campbell and Martin appear to have solved their interpersonal issues because they both seemed in good spirits when they spoke with TMZ.

When asked what a new show would look like, Martin said, “Well, I don’t think we have to do it the same way, I just think we have to be funny and we have to be entertaining and give people heartfelt stories.”

“And the truth,” Campbell added.

When asked what she meant by that, she specified, “I think, evolution. Evolution, you know? It’s still gonna be fun.

“But it’s gonna be an evolution,” she added.

The person interviewing them asked if the show would have a political aspect to it and Tisha Campbell replied, “Why are you asking all this – didn’t we just tell you, what – that we don’t know?”

“We would definitely wanna be current,” said Tichina. “You know, we’re not trying to relive anything. We wanna give credence to the past, and to show how the past has evolved, and made us who we are.”

She added, “We’re blessed, because the ’90s were a great time, and we would love to recreate it, just bring it back alive and give credence to it, and kinda tap into a place where people – “

“We ain’t telling y’all s***!” Campbell interjected.
