Nick Gordon’s girlfriend pleads with judge to free him on domestic violence charge

Nick Gordon’s girlfriend wants the judge in his assault case to know it was all her fault.

Laura Leal has reportedly filed documents in Seminole County, Fla., that include a letter asking the judge to lift the no-contact order set against Gordon. In the correspondence Leal says she needs his love and guidance and wants to speak to her boyfriend again.

The letter, which was obtained by TMZ, also says the case against Gordon is inaccurate, particularly in regards to her alleged injuries on the night of his arrest.

Her story

She writes, “Pictures were taken of my face the night of the incident because cops stated my lip was ‘bleeding’ when in all reality my lips were chapped and dry … There was no marks on my face.”

Leal admits that she suffers from severe anger issues and insists the whole incident was a misunderstanding that has unfairly villainized an innocent man.

“I am seeking help and determined to take the condition seriously as I have been diagnosed bipolar,” she writes. “He is not at blame, and should not be pushed into any trouble or consequences due to my actions.”

Something to it

Her account lines up with Gordon’s version of events when he phoned 911. On the call he sounded frantic and distressed as he told the operator he “sounds so lame because I’m getting beat up by a woman.”

Gordon, had been in a relationship with Bobbi Kristina Brown and family members, including relatives of both Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown have blamed him for guiding her into a downward spiral leading to her 2015 death. However, he has denied any culpability.
