Before Saturday night, unless you’re fan of The Daily Show, you may not have heard of Michelle Wolf. We all know her name now.

Wolf delivered a hilarious blistering of the Trump Administration, the White House Press Corps, and particularly, White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Sanders, best known for her at times shameless lying and aggressively dismissive – and disrespectful – treatment of reporters, was there in place of Trump who once again refused to attend the event. Trump opted, instead, to hold a rally in Southeast Michigan.

Wolf pulled no punches, but what seems to have everyone talking is her slaying of Huckabee to her face about, well, her face amongst other things.

“We are graced with Sarah’s presence tonight,” Wolf said. “I have to say I’m a little star-struck. I love you as “Aunt Lydia” in The Handmaid’s Tale. Mike Pence, if you haven’t seen it, you would love it.”

For those who don’t watch the Hulu series, “Aunt Lydia” is a fearsome character from the who re-educates women into subjugation and enforces strict punishment on them.

Wolf also hit the Stormy Daniels scandal and closed the set by noting that Flint, Mich., still does not have clean water, but it was these comments that had pearls being clutched across the room.

“I actually really like Sarah,” Wolf said. “I think she’s very resourceful. She burns facts, and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.”

“And I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders, you know? Is it Sarah Sanders, is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is it Cousin Huckabee, is it Auntie Huckabee Sanders? Like, what’s Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women? Oh, I know. Aunt Coulter.”

Wolf, who is not Black despite often being mistaken for it, has draw angry responses from offended Trump supporters, along with many reporters, who felt that Wolf was making fun of Huckabee’s appearance.

It should be noted that Trump himself has repeatedly mocked and insulted the appearance of people for years and openly mocked a disabled New York Times reporter during a campaign stop in 2016.

A number of reporters, many of which who are routinely insulted by Trump and Huckabee, came to her defense only to face the wrath of social media. Wolf herself has joined in as well.

Meanwhile, in Washington Township, Mich., Trump was asking if there were “any Hispanics in the room” before talking about his border wall and invoking Kanye West’s support of him as an attempt to prove that he’s not racist.

But, it seems that Wolf is the problem here.
