Kim Kardashian West will publicly defend Kanye ‘to the end’
Kim K is reportedly very worried about her husband's latest antics.
Kim Kardashian West is standing by her man, Kanye West, even though she doesn’t agree with many of the statements he has made during his recent outbursts.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is reportedly “absolutely worried” about her husband, but continues to defend him on social media.
“Kanye is the most amazing person when he’s not acting like this. But when he gets manic, it’s really hard for everyone around him,” a source told PEOPLE. “Kim is absolutely worried about him right now, but she will defend him publicly to the end. She’s a very loyal wife, and her tweets and everything she’s been saying is definitely very calculated to help Kanye.”
Although West had a pretty public mental breakdown in 2016 and revealed that he has been prescribed medication by doctors during a recent interview with Charlamagne The God, Kim took to social media to shut down reports that Yeezy is suffering from mental illness.
“To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this… your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary. So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair…Yesterday it was announced that Kanye had parted ways with some business people and media outlets made this about Kanye’s mental health. Rather than just a simple business decision. So I’m glad he tweeted about the state of his company and all of the exciting things happening,” she wrote on social media.
“Mental Health is no joke and the media needs to stop spitting that out so casually. Bottom line.”
Considering the fact that Kanye West has abandoned his core fan base and aligned himself with Donald Trump, a relapse of mental health issues doesn’t seem like a stretch. Still, Kardashian West seems reluctant to acknowledge the deeper issues her husband may be facing.
During his interview with Charlamagne, Kanye West revealed his hospitalization in 2016 was terrifying and he still isn’t seeing a therapist.
“I’m happy it happened. I’m happy to have gone to the other side and back…I can’t express to you how traumatizing that moment is [when your friends and family leave the hospital] and then you wake up drugged the f— out,” he said of his hospitalization.
“It’s an imperfect solution because it calmed me down,” he said. “But there’s a lot of ways to calm down. Let ‘Ye be ‘Ye.”
