For fashion’s biggest night, the stars came out in full force at the invitation of Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. The Met Gala 2018 was co-hosted this year by Rihanna, Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace. This year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibit theme was, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” According to Harper’s Bazaar, the “Heavenly Bodies” exhibition even received the official stamp of approval from the Vatican. George Zimmerman charged with stalking a private investigator
George Zimmerman, who was acquitted after shooting and killing unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012, is in legal trouble yet again. The Florida State’s Attorney’s office has filed stalking charges against the 34-year-old, according to court documents. The charges stem from what the prosecutors characterize as Zimmerman’s “willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly” following and harassing private investigator, Dennis Warren, who is working on a documentary about the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Airbnb reacts to Black women detained by police because White woman thought they were robbers
A Black woman who vacationed with friends and stayed at a California Airbnb said they were swarmed by police and detained after a neighbor reported a group of Black people were taking luggage out of a house. Call it a case of #VacationingWhileBlack, which joins the ranks of other racially insensitive run-ins with cops where Black people have had police called on them without cause, manhandled or brutally beaten.
