Another day, another video.
This time, a Wisconsin police officer was caught on cell phone video repeatedly punching a black teenager in the face outside of a shopping mall. Police in Wauwatosa, a suburb of Milwaukee, responded to a call from security at Mayfair Mall on Friday that reported five disorderly teenagers.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports the video, shot by bystander, Tyrone Jackson, shows one officer initially attempting to speak with one of the teens, who refused talk. At that point a second officer comes in and punches the boy in the face, knocking him to the ground. The officer then mounts and continues punching the teen.
“I knew it was wrong, that punch was wrong,” Jackson said. “If it was just a tussling, trying to get him down, okay that would be something different.
“But the punch to the face, twice, to a minor, it was something serious to me,” he added.

Police issue statement
Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber said in a statement, “I can assure you that we take all situations seriously when they involve a use of force by our officers. We thoroughly review all incidents in which force is used by an officer and will do so in this incident, as well.”
Police arrested the unnamed 17-year-old boy, who was cited for disorderly conduct, battery and resisting an officer.
