Someone reportedly took a pickax to President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and smashed it to smithereens—and this is the second time this year that the star has been vandalized.

The Los Angeles police now have a man in custody after the culprit turned himself in Wednesday morning to the Beverly Hills Police Department, CNN reports.

Patricia Cox, who saw the man destroying Trump’s star, told CNN affiliate KCAL/KCBS that the man was “going to town” on the ground “like it was his business just to be tearing up the ground,” she said.

At first, the witness thought maybe some work was being done in the area.

“I thought it was work going on over here,” she said.

Trump’s star is in the heart of Hollywood’s busy tourist district at Hollywood & Highland center.

The location makes it a prime spot for people to vandalize the star.

Back in 2016, Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Blvd Walk of Fame was smashed after someone took a pickaxe to it.

The vandal reportedly posed as a construction worker so that no one would question him as he went about destroying the star. Then a man named Jamie Otis took credit for the vandalism and claimed that he would sell the destroyed star to raise money for the defense of the women who have accused Donald Trump of rape and sexual assault.

George Lopez, a comedian known for speaking his mind, recently made headlines when he pulled a prank that pissed plenty of people off.

The funny man decided to post a video pretending to urinate on Donald Trump‘s star and some of POTUS’ supporters were adamant that Lopez should be arrested.

To be clear, Lopez poured water from a bottle he held between his legs in the video, there was no actual pee anywhere.

According to reports, the LAPD was been flooded by phone calls and e-mails from people who live as far away as Virginia demanding they charge the comedian for the incident that some have called “sick, deplorable, offensive and disrespectful.”

Police reportedly confirmed that no crime was committed even though some folks claim he’s guilty of indecent exposure. Considering George Lopez never unzipped his pants or exposed any part of his body in the incident, that argument is pretty ridiculous to say the least.

George Lopez has made no secret of his feelings for Trump. Last year, he was boo’ed off stage at a charity event in Denver after his anti-Trump jokes offended several people in the crowd.

Clearly the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is not popular—and neither is Trump.
