On Friday, Hapeville police worked to get the word out and posted photos on their Facebook page, with the drugs disguised as colorful bogus candy and lollipops. The department made the major drug bust and also recovered firearms.

“Parents, teachers and coaches please make our young people aware of these dangers,” they shared on Facebook according to WSBTV.

Police also reported “suspected marijuana, pills, cannabis pops, and suspected powder cocaine,” in addition to cash.

Even more sinister, the drugs reportedly looked like popular cartoon characters like Hello Kitty, The Simpsons and the Minions characters from the popular movie.

Metro Atlanta police have found that many of the drugs could be laced with ecstasy. They warn parents to be extra careful and inspect any candy their child may have, especially as Halloween approaches.
