In a new interview, Hillary Clinton clapped back at claims that her husband former President Bill Clinton abused his power by having an affair with an intern Monica Lewinsky while in office, CNN reports.
Clinton called into question the sexual harassment allegations made against President Donald Trump while talking with CBS on Sunday morning.
“But let me ask you this,” Clinton said, “Where’s the investigation of the current incumbent, against whom numerous allegations have been made, and which he dismisses, denies, and ridicules?” Clinton asked.
“So, there was an investigation [of Bill], and it, as I believe, came out in the right place.”
Clinton said Lewinsky was an adult when she was entangled in a sex scandal with her husband and defended his by saying he was “absolutely not” abusing his power 20 years ago when the affair took flight.
It wasn’t an abuse of power?” CBS News correspondent Tony Dokoupil asked.
Clinton responded: “No. No.” She reiterated that Lewinsky was an adult at the time of the affair.

Clinton also lambasted newly appointed Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh and the complex nomination process.
“It further undermined the image and integrity of the court,” she said. “And that troubles me greatly, it saddens me, because our judicial system has been viewed as one of the main pillars of our constitutional government.”
Clinton also took issue with the nasty treatment of Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
“The president’s been true to form,” Clinton said, according to The Hill. “He has insulted, attacked, demeaned women throughout the campaign, really for many years leading up to the campaign, and he’s continued to do that inside the White House.”
Melania Trump Speaks on Husband’s Alleged Affairs
While Clinton is standing by her man, Melania Trump is not worried about her husband’s alleged affairs.
Recently, in a taped interview with ABC News released, Trump said she has “much more important things” to focus on than her husband’s marital indiscretions.
“It is not concern and focus of mine. I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do. I know people like to speculate and media like to speculate about our marriage,” Trump told ABC News.
Has she been hurt by the claims? “It’s not always pleasant, of course, but I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true or not true,” Trump said in the interview.
When ABC News asked the First Lady if she and President Donald Trump have a good marriage and if she loves him, she replied: “Yes, we are fine.”
