Joycelyn Savage, one of R. Kelly’s alleged sex captives featured in the much-talked-about Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly, could be holed up at Chicago’s Trump Tower, TMZ is reporting.

Savage’s family believes she is living at the high rise in downtown Chicago along with another alleged sex captive, Azriel Clary, lawyer Gerald Griggs tells TMZ. Both of the women were at the singer’s hearing over the weekend on sex abuse charges, according to the news organization.

Kelly, 52, whose given name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, is facing multiple counts on charges of sex abuse, including alleged acts with minors, as well as charges that he owes $160,000 in child support to ex-wife Andrea “Drea” Kelly, with whom he has three children. Kelly remained in jail for days until a friend was able to post his $100,000 bond on Monday.

Savage’s family is working with Illinois prosecutors to try to arrange a wellness check on Savage, and their goal is to be present at such a check. The Chicago Police Department did perform a wellness check in January, but the family is not convinced that it was thorough enough, Griggs told TMZ.

The Savages remain determined to convince their daughter to leave Kelly and his seeming control over her, according to TMZ.

Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg, shot back with a response to TMZ that appeared to question the validity of the family’s stance.

“Police in Chicago and Atlanta have both done wellness checks, plus she has been in court,” Greenberg said. “Now, this attorney is a psychiatrist? Give me a break.”

The Savages have said they’re requesting the help from the police department because Kelly’s associates have threatened them and they fear for their own safety, according to TMZ.

Kelly is accused of sexually abusing four victims, three of them underage, between 1998 and 2010. In recent years, his ability to earn money slumped in the wake of the “Mute R. Kelly” social media campaign. When he was arrested on the sex abuse charges, he remained in jail for days until a friend posted the $100,000 bond for him on Monday.
